5 rounds for time:

10 burpees

15 kettlebell swings

20 one-arm dumbbell snatch & lunge

This workout, also known as “It’s a girl” and “Shakey’s Revenge”, is now named after Shakey’s daughter, Gabrielle.


This weekend would be the perfect time to do the Thruster Challenge.  So far the score to beat  is Derek’s 32, just two more than Suzanne’s 30.  Let’s get some more scores on that board!

    Ok, this one was definitely brutal – thank you Angela!! Used 25# for KB swings and 15# for snatch/lunges. Finished in 24:10. Angela, I can’t believe these are actually your favorites – what is wrong with you?!!

    i agree that this one was very challenging…but i really love kb swings! it was the snatch/lunges that were so hard! i also used 15 lbs for them, and 30 lbs for the kb swings…with a time of 23:22. next time i need to try 35lbs for the kb swings. i’m glad gabrielle was there to cheer us up after that wod!

    Ended up leading morning PT this morning but didn’t have a lot of time (AMRAP 3 burpees, 10 pushups, 15 squats in 4:00)

    So later on a couple of us went out and found a 450ish tire and flipped it about 15 times each. Good fun.

    awesome workout .. one of the hardest for sure .. realized i ended up doing all the snatch/lunge thingy’s on one arm/leg .. I’m hurtin’ tonite. 30 lb kettlebell, 20 lb lunge .. took me forever! Going back to strict zone as I felt better on it. Would love to see this workout again.

    Gabrielle is adorable, can’t stop thinking today of those darn cute socks!
