Gabrielle watches "Gabrielle"

For time:

Run 800 meters
40 L pull-ups
Run 800 meters
40 Strict pull-ups
Run 800 meters
40 Kipping pull-ups

No worries if you don’t have a pull-up yet, not to mention an L-pull-up.  There are plenty of variations you can use, including ring rows, jumping pull-ups, pull-ups with various band thickness, negatives, chest to bar pull-ups with or without a band…  Ask me about it when you come in.

I know…I hate feeling like snot about the whole conventional gym thing…cause some people actually go there and work hard…but I can’t help but chuckle at those that are there to only socialize and flex there stuff…We had a really fun time…did a hard 5k TT then a couples Tabata wod (squats, DU’s, pushups, situps)…Nat & Yvan beat us…so we had to buy the post wod coffee…good times !@MLC

31:47 min……could not get legs straight for L pullups so my knees were bent and closer in to the chest. Still little sick and not 100% yet, so looking forward to being able to go harder again.

Led morning PT with another guy from Winnipeg.
4 rounds of tabata mountain climbers, then 4 rounds of inverted tabata jumping lunges, then 4 rounds of tabata dive bomber pushups, then 3 sets of 30s plank

    then in the afternoon:
    5 rounds of
    7 handstand pushup
    30 squats
    21 double unders
    8:40

Good fun! One of the guys that does CrossFit joined me for 3 rounds of it.

On handstand pushups I could see my reflection on the fire truck…. really a very special moment to literally see these worlds collide!

27:57 almost Rx’d. By “almost”, I mean that the L-pull-ups may not have been perfect “L”s the whole time, but pretty close…

    @brendan
Looks like Coach B is still coach B no matter where you go…

Don’t you just love those moments? Wish you could take a snapshot of how it felt at that very instant? I had one of those while sitting outside with K-Star and his little girl after a wod at CrossFit San Fran, looking out at the Golden Gate bridge. As he gave me some advice on running a CrossFit box, the fact that dream and reality were merging hit me all at once…
