I find that on pull ups and dbl unders I can blow off a big chunck of reps in the first set…then the burn sets in on the first rest and then the number of reps in each set goes down drastically

Congrats Suzanne! actually loved this workout today. didn’t venture a guess on the baby so had to opt for the coin flip of doom and got the push press/row/thruster/row/clean and jerk wod. 16:13 as rx’d
….no more babies for a while please…….

I admit that I snitted on about 10 k2e. Not proud of it. But I vowed to stop doing it after about 35 reps (I had about 10 reps where only 1 knee touched elbow instead of both)
L-sits were practically nil after yesterday and today. I’m going to have to try again later in the day. If you find yourself in the same position, try them between a couple stacks of books, on the kitchen counter, between two coffee tables, wherever. Just get’em done…. or add them to your workout next time.

I’m kind of happy I guessed wrong because i don’t think I can do 100 pound thrusters. “It’s not a boy V2.0″ with double unders Rx’d @ 20:22. When I did the math, I estimated I couldn’t do sub 20 but I came close, so I’m happy with that.
Pullups: 15-10-9-10-5-5-5-4-2
Rowing: 2:35 to 2:50 pace
Double unders: 25-10-10-10-10
Burpees: 35-30

I’m pumped my time was better than I thought it was going to be! Burpees need work though. Oh, and beet greens = yum
(Sauteed with bacon fat and sea salt, coarsely chop the red “stalk” part, tastes like beet) I threw in some chopped leek…at least I think they were leeks, they looked like over-sized green onions…but I don’t think the greens needed them, I just felt like trying it out.

Did the “Johanna grace” wod. 13:29 rx’d. Thrusters were “fun”.

Today was my first official Crossfit workout…did not Rx the weight as my Clean and Jerks are more “jerky” than clean….. I flipped and got the Johanna Grace (thank god) because It would have taken an hour to finnish the K2E…
It was nice meeting everyone and I will see you very soon…..
