“The Bear”
Power Clean
Front Squat
Push Press
Back Squat
Push Press
7 sets without the bar resting on the ground
Start at a weight light enough that you can do all 7 sets at without resting. Then, rest 2-10 minutes, increase the weight, and try again. Keep doing this until you find a weight with which you cannot complete the routine.

@Tapout
Way to go, you were awesome!
The Bear wasn’t good to me. I got through 75#’s, and jumped to 95#’s, and failed miserably. My logic was, I did Grace last weekend and push pressed 95#’s 30 times, so I figured I could do it 14 times. I was wrong… next time.

…130#s was the top for me. Beats the ‘accidental’ 115# 4-minute epic shown in the video. Thanks for that, Coach B.! ;P

Hey guys,,,,,just finished the bear,,,,,, I LOVE/HATE it!!!
Did a bunch of sets as I did not have a clue what weight to use….
95 #
115 #
135 #
155 #
175 # miserable fail and I mean miserable….so I punished myself with 25 burpees at the end and just about chucked…..oops..
P.S. I suck at cleans….I pretty much upright row it then somehow flip/flop it directly onto my collar bone

Wow, was that crazy, I’d never done the bear before, and lacked the “skills” to get into the back squat gently, I am paying for it today, I’ve got a giant green bruise on the back on my neck. But I made it farther than I thought I would:

I could have maybe gone heavier, but I had to get home to the baby. Also, I am with Natalie…I also have a bruise on my upper back. I lack the strength to lower the weight gently into the back squat.
