  • been running this week and doing my own thing this week .. school work has been so heavy this week!

  • @cheryl
    When my sister took that program she didn’t have much of a life outside of school. Glad to hear you’re keeping up some activity. A little bit everyday will improve the effectiveness of your studying.

  • 275 # deadlifts ?????????

  • @Suzanne
    Makes for a good time! Scales to 185 I think.

  • Love any wod with heavy deads. Should definitely be a good time. Tape and long socks…sweet.

    yes .. I agree .. my head is much more clear after exercise .. missing it there though .. feel like i need to push some weight .. it’s weird how I crave a metcon but then after a while it just doesn’t do it and I start thinking about c & j’s .. lol .. will be in soon

  • @cheryl
    LOL awesome!

  • DL 185#
    K2E (I sucked !)
    Time: 16:24

  • This was fun.

  • I have had a BRUTAL cold the last while and some rotator cuff issues hence my M.I.A.

    I think I am going to try this one though….. Its pretty bad when I am looking forward to the dead-lifts rather than the K2E,,,,,, I think the K2E are going to kill me…..(that IS positive thought process…. scary eh??)

    I hope to see everyone on Sunday……

  • No deads but I got a workout in, the 1st in 2 weeks, knee hurts like a bugger but I’m stain of the pain killers and eating fish oil caps.

  • I am finally starting to see improvements. My K2E are getting closer to looking like K2E. So excited, can’t wait to find out if my FGB will improve!

  • WOD as rx’d 17:?4 – K2E on bar (all for you Turbo)
    I ripped up my hands on the 4th round which took up some time as I could not decide what to do as bad tears really hinder me for WODs to come. Switched to the K2E on rings for last set, still tore though. Damn it hurts to work through a tear, but not too deep. Meh, just being a princess.

    @Lisa
    I find oil is better, caps didn’t work as well for me and you have to take quite a few. The fish oil at the gym is great.

  • My time sucked..23:something. DL: 135lbs K2E. I slowed down on the K2E cuz I was scared to rip my hands so now I have this blood blister on the palm of my hand. Should I pop it? Or let it crust? lol

  • @mlc
    I take the fish caps too and they’re a pain to swallow… they’re huge.

    @maxine
    Way to hustle on your WOD Maxine!

  • @Crystal B
    I always pop them, but that’s just me.

  • WOD – 90# on the deadlift – K2 as close to E as I could get!! 13:06

    @cheryl
    Miss you there!

  • My low back is bothering me after the squats on Tuesday, so I am taking a break today from deadlifts. I am going to run to the park to do some sprints. See you tomorrow.

  • 13:35 Rx’d.

    Ripped the hand open, I’m away this weekend for work, so it’ll heal up I guess. Good luck to everyone at FGB this weekend, you guys will rock!

  • @Crystal B
    Thanks Crystal!

    165#
    I don’t do K2E…more like lifting my legs up.

  • Turbo can you tell me my time? I forgot to write it done in my book. Thanks

  • @Ren your time was 11:06 @190# – congrats

    @Crystal B I usually pop the blood blisters, but if it’s a ripped callous I cut off the skin and put aloe or vitamin E oil on it (and a band aid if it’s in a particularly exposed spot.

    @mlc way to choose the least pleasant alternative. you rocked it.

    I went with 145#, finished in 13:04.

  • 85# 3×2 OHS
    20:53 @ 205# DL
    This WOD was a disaster for me. Couldn’t get a rhythm on kipping knees to elbows. I would just swing awkwardly on the way down. I was having issues with grip in the bars and my hands ripped open.

  • 9:00 even with 225# DL. I thought I would have more trouble with the DL’s and less trouble with the K2E. I was able to the DLs in a set of 4, quick breath, then a set of 3. The K2E ended up in sets of 2-3 at the end.

    I think I have just reached the point of not really getting sore after the WOD, and it’s a great feeling. Therefore, I have begun to add some strength work in before or after the WOD in order to get my Crossfit Total up a bit and have already seen the benefits.

  • 10:25 rx’d (275#)…K2Es presented more problems than anticipated…deads were a “nice” break…

    My CrossFit experience was so awesome!! I don't think I've ever been around that much genuinely positive energy in my life! Everyone was so gracious and helpful, and at the end of On-Ramp I really felt I could do anything!! Your entire team, male and female, have such enviable physiques and I know I can get there, too, so thank you for what you guys do and for what you"
