  • Had to substitute double boat rocks for the toes to bar. So 8 rounds 16 boat rocks, 8 GHD situps – 10:37. Hope nothing funny happens today – abs are too sore to laugh!

    Dragged out the rubber mats and did a man cave WOD

    5 rnds 10 PU /15/10 KB thrusters with 2 35 lb KB

  • Well today was a mish mash of the good, the bad, and the ugly !

    I was inspired to post tonight because of MLC…while she was coaching tonight she happened to glance down at my log book that read the following….”I suck at toes to bar”…We had a good laugh and I commented how grumpy I was after this mornings wod…only because I wasn’t as good as wanna be on T2B…The question is…do I really WANT to be?

    So tonight made me realize that with an attitude like that in my log book I won’t go far…and I certainly won’t get my feet up to the bar more than my usual 3-4 times…EVER !

    Tonight I also did my OHS weekly plan…an exercise I love to do, I feel pretty confident doing and that I seem to apply much more determination in executing. I failed on a couple reps…and did not give up…and I told myself out loud…I can do this…and as long as coach says go form looks good…I will go…and ended up with 3×2 and a NEW PR…!

    My lesson today…is to apply more determination and positive comments to my weaknesses…even when it is not so fun ! So T2B and ring dips here I come !

    WOD – 10:21 (love working my quads on GHD !)
    Ring dips – blue and pink band 3 sets of 5-7 reps
    OHS – 3×2 @ 110#

  • ….7:25, Rx’d. Had my GHD thingy set way too small though, meant to put it at 12, somehow put it at 7…

    good for you, Tapout! I like your style.
    my Grandpa once told me “It’s all in the attitude”, that has been his business’ slogan for a while now. it says a lot–
    I’m proud of you for deciding that yourself instead of having someone else point it out for you. Way to not only challenge your physical at CF, but your mental as well!

    Good for you Nic. I have caught myself a few times saying things like “I suck at this” and realized too that if I keep telling myself that I can’t do this, then I can’t. I have said before that “can’t” is a relative term here. I try to think in terms of “can’t yet”. My goal is that 20″ box!
