  • Yay! Deadlifts :)

  • just putting it out there… if anyone loves Norwex products like I do, party at Madeleine’s on Wednesday at 6:30pm. Just call me at 471-3385 if you’re interested!

  • I thought this article was pretty funny…

Great workout today, I love deadlifts now I need to learn to follow instructions…

  • @Kimberly
Great article! Good work on those deadlifts. I know you did that on purpose to avoid that nasty tabata drill that I had to do!

Deadlifts – 5 x 160# new PR for me! I really liked that sequence. Couldn’t do tabata pushups so B had a really evil tabata drill that I am sure he stayed up at night thinking “how can I make tabata even more hellish”. Hopefully my legs will recover in a couple of days.

  • @Kimberly
Good find Kimberly, i’m sharing this one for sure!

  • @Kimberly
    funny article Kimberly!

  • @Erika
Good Job on your new PR Erika!

  • @Erika
Did B’s Tabata involve the big mat and high knees? Took that one for the team last night… he saw the pain in my eyes… as he was on the sidelines giggling. I have a feeling that will be coming to a WOD near you.

    @Kimberly
    Funny article!

  • @Motha
That’s the one! How do your legs feel today?

  • @Erika
Quads aren’t too shabby for the day after. They were jello like right after the ‘fun’. I hope my wrist gets better soon… I don’t like being B’s guinea pig. :)

  • @Motha
I hear you! Mine’s a shoulder injury. I couldn’t even stand up right after. Don’t feel too bad now anymore. Was wondering what stairs are going to feel like tomorrow.

  • 5X 215 for final round….tried to do 265 X 1 to bump my name up on the board
(yup – TOTALLY motivated by the white board ;-) but I chickened out feeling like I was straining my low back too much.
Melisa, how did you ever deadlift 280?? you are my hero :-)

  • @Suzanne
That whiteboard is my motivator to. I love it.
And I know it is yours as I was using it for my 3rep max Press and when I came in later saw that you did the exact same thing! :P
I have a good DL and cleans; thrusters on the other hand, well anything to do with a squat, is my nemesis.

  • @MLC
It was so funny Melisa, the day I did 100 X 2 press, it was SUCH a mental thing…all I had in my head was Melisa did 100 X 2, and on the third rep the bar just stopped mid eye level…my legs starting shaking, I couldn’t push it one more cm……thanks for the push and friendly competition :-)

  • @Suzanne
I was pretty pumped that day, my last 1RM was 99# so to get out 2 x 100 was huge for me. Next time, 100 x 3, bring your A game.
And you are ttly my strength competition/motivation. I love it! That’s why we CF.

My CrossFit experience was so awesome!! I don't think I've ever been around that much genuinely positive energy in my life! Everyone was so gracious and helpful, and at the end of On-Ramp I really felt I could do anything!! Your entire team, male and female, have such enviable physiques and I know I can get there, too, so thank you for what you guys do and for what you"
