    Kia Ora from New Zealand!
    Finally got out to CF Auckland today, cost me $12 round-trip! yeesh. Anyways, our WOD was called Taz, after one of the female athletes that had participated in CF Games this year, and it’s based on one of the WODs she did.
    21-15-9
    C & J (25 kg, rx’d was 40 kg for women–shoulder still screwed)
    Ring Dips (blue band)
    KB Swing (20 kg=1 pood)
    Burpee Pullups (broke these up-STUPID shoulder!)
    time= 23:41

    Coach Alex was great, they just did they Oly lift cert this past wknd–wish I coulda booked in, but didn’t plan my trip in time.

    Had a great visit with CF Auckland, have something we might want to introduce–wooden dummy plates for bars…instead of the parallete bars for a good distance from ground. :)

    Will try to get back, but may have to do Eva T vacation WODs w/body resistance, it’s expensive and tough to get around here!

    MISSIN MY CF WPG FAM!

    xo,
    SupaBean

    Hey Bean – good to hear from you. Miss you too! Watch that shoulder you do not want to make it worse!

    Did bench press today as my shoulder won’t tolerate overhead yet. Heaviest set 65#

    Just wanted say thanks to everyone on Sunday for putting up with my kids. They really enjoyed it!! Only problem I foresee is my son keeps talking about the snatch and cool it was… I have a feeling I am going to hear about it from school again. :(

    He was also REALLY impressed with the girl with the short hair who climbed the rope and lifted “fifty thousand one hundred pounds” (Rosie) :)

    Kind Regards,

    Eric

    Another PR today, 70×5 and then 75×4 my arms were wrong in the last rep, I need to stop my back from arching. The WOD did not go as well, those DUs killed it for me, 17:11 using the blue band for the pushups. I also somehow managed to bruise the top of my hand with the skipping rope and I’ve had a few concerned inquiries… and I don’t know how to explain it without explaining CF and then my students think I’m a nutter.

    @Eric If only all kids were that well behaved!

    @Eric

    Hell ya! I recall, not too long ago, when you were getting 4 in a row. That’s a far cry from 32 unbroken. Nice work!
