    So I was sitting in my buddies room over here, checking my emails and stuff. And he shot me in the back with his pistol! The shot went through my right trap, neck and chin and managed to not hit anything important. Less then two days later and I’m back at work, with some restrictions.

    Anyway I just wanted to let you guys know over there….I think it may slow down my times on some of the workouts.

    You guys should give me some suggestions on recovery, thanks.

    Holy crap man…. that’s intense. My wife towel whipped me once. It was wet. It sucked. Yours sounds worse.

    Seriously though… THROUGH YOUR NECK??? Well… I’d suggest you make sure that you get some thorough healing before elevating your pulse significantly to make sure all your circulatory functions are good. Sounds hokey… but *visualize* yourself doing CrossFit WODs or olympic lifts as your training… it will pay off for keeping your head in the game. I’m sure it’ll be 6-8 weeks at least before you can start doing anything at high intensity again. Of course, you should be talking to a professional before you do.

    Oh… some other ideas…. check out Youtube videos of mobility drills…
    Here’s a good one that will improve your hip mobility and strength… it’s frickin hard dude… something you can work on every other day or so:
