40 Kettlebell Swings, 1.5/1 Pood
30 Pull-ups
20 Thrusters, 95/65 lbs
10 Burpees

    I rested less than normal when I had to break up the sets, yay!, but those pullups were brutal. I’m finally getting better at high intensity work :)

    LOL – thanks for that Kim. As someone who has been getting similar “advice” from people who don’t have a clue I appreciate his rant!

  • Did not do the WOD as I wanted to stay in one piece for the weekend BUT……

    I know it is not a huge deal but I did baseline today and it is the first time I have re-done a workout….

    I knocked about a minute and a half of my original time…..

    It was sub four minutes I think near 3:50.

    Pretty happy right now…..this shi# WORKS!!!

  • One thing… Just wanted to expound on why I’m happy… not so much because of the time… anything sub 8 would have been good for me. I’m playing with the idea of trying to stay relaxed during the WOD. I’d say I did a really great job of keeping it together with that today. Felt a bit rushed or whatever a couple times, but just tried to chill out. Anyway, I’m thinking I’ll write up some more info on my experiences with this lately.

  • 12:02 Rx’d, I was actually a bit dissapointed in my time, was aiming sub 10, didn’t have my head in the thruster game, should have hit them harder. Super excited about my “use less chalk” experiment, as I had no rips yesterday. Good times on the pullup bar, that’s for sure.
