Workout of the Day

A. 5 rounds:
10 Overhead squat at 3010; rest 90s
10 Supinated Grip strict chin ups at 3010; rest 90s

B. 3 sets of 25 GHD Situps unbroken

(Note… if you break any set, stop the set there for all exercises… ie if you get 7 reps on the overhead squat before dropping, do not pick it up for the last 3)

  • I had the greatest day yesterday. As most of you know this is the first time I post, I just couldn’t help it. I believe I have accomplished a lot of things in my life both physically and mentally but the thrill, of getting my first pullup compares to the best of those. Thank you to all the coaches for believing that at my age I could actually turn back time and become fitter than ever. To everyone out there this is proof that you need to believe you can do something and then go out and do the things day in and day out that make that possible. There is no stopping me now.

  • Overhead squats all sets @31kg
    Chin-ups: 9/7/6/6/6 – this tempo was pretty tough

    Post workout protein shake
    Breakfast: veggie omelet with cantaloupe
    Lunch: went out to Daniel’s restaurant in Copala and had chicken fajitas minus the tortilla, “solo ensalada” (salad only), no rice, no beans, finished with their world famous banana coconut pie – so worth the cheat
    Dinner: Restaurant “Charly Shrimp”, this was also a bit of a cheat since the sauce had cheese in it
