Single leg squats (rx’d)
5@bodyweight only/5@10#/5@15#/3@20#/3@25#/3@25#
5 rounds:
5 High Hang Power Clean
15 Pushups
4:18 Rx’d
Cleans were too light, should have used the men’s standard bwt % instead of ladies, also it didn’t make for enough rest on the push-ups, so I actually literally failed on 3 of the push-ups in my last set.

damn it, had a meeting that went through the morning classes, then i work until 7:30, will have to make this up on my own. squats and pushups easy enough, HHPC not so much…

aiiight. did squats this a.m, no real probs. practiced free standing HSPU and did a 10 minute cindy at lunch. run tonight. sorted.

single leg squats are tough for me. having a real bad hip issue as of the last couple months and it was hindering me today. did 5-5-5-3-3-3 all to 12″ box with 15#db
finished the WOD in 3:29. i killed the hang power cleans but struggled by the third round of pushups. If i could have been tougher through them but I was done.

A) 35-35-40-50-50. last set i tried 2 35# KBs. got the 3 on the right leg, 1 on the left.
B) 5:49 using 115#

@BRad
Nice time.
5:08 loved that WOD. i have to find a way not to crap out on the push ups…my mind says go but my arms and chest say no.
Steve…i tried your Guacamole with broccoli for supper – FAN – freaking – tastic.

a) 10(5)-20(5)-30(5)-35(3)-45(3)-55(3) with heel on 10# plate
b) 2:30 rx’d

2:30 whoaaaaa! I wish i could have seen that.

@chris
I did see it and it was awesome, but I blinked and missed a couple of rounds. That was inspiring to watch Coach B!
A. Level 2 5xbwt, 5×10, 5×15, 3×20, 3×22 (great on right leg, needed bits of rest for the left), 3×25 on my right and failure on left, def need to work on my left leg. Using the 10# plate made me want weight lifting shoes big time!
Push-ups slowed me down on the WOD 9:42 using 75# and a blue band hanging from a bar on the push-ups. Great way to stay consistent btw…hook a pull-up band around a bar in a squat rack and you can keep track of the bar height

NO idea what one legged squats are……I think I was doing pistols…if they are the same thing as one legged squats then power to the people who did it with weight!!!

@Eric
sheesh.

@Eric
Pistols are a version of sls. The only difference is that maintaining a straight leg is not mandatory.
January 28, 2010 at 10:06 am
Pistols…what can i say I hate’em. Right leg no prob, left is a diff story. That darn IT band is killing me.
WOD 2:40 Rx’d!
Almost Puked…..

@Brendan
K…I was doing Pistols at home and tried to hold a weight and kept falling on my ass!! I could not keep my balance for the life of me…!
Thanks B.
