So, I love where I work – the people absolutely rock and they are very generous. Sometimes they share advice, sometimes knowledge, sometimes even Starbucks. This time they saw fit to share a headcold. Booooo. Morgan is already down for the count, I am fighting it with all my might.
So I thought I would ask if you guys would mind sharing any tips you have for Paleo eating whilst sick?
Breakie: scrambled eggs
Lunch: pork souvlaki and salad
Dinner: pickerel, broccoli, carrots
Snack: orange, trail mix.

Lunch: mini fruit salad (1/3 grapefruit, 1/3 apple, 1/3 orange, 8 raspberries) over mixed greens. 1 cup hot chili.
I’m back on track from a weekend vacation where poor food choices were abundant. I’ve already felt the pains of those bad choices. The truth is they weren’t even worth it. And yet my performance was not hindered, I had a really good WOD yesterday hit way more than my target, but have been bloated and crampy for days now, hopefuly it will be out of my system soon!

Lunch today is leftovers from yesterday. I made “breaded” chicken breasts and thighs using a combination of almond flour and coconut flour, then browned them on both sides in coconut oil. I put them in a 9X13 pan added a spoonful of tomato sauce on top and a little grated cheese and baked them for 20 minutes. Delicious! So lunch today is some chicken with veggies.

Lunch #1 is my ground turkey/slaw concoction. I plan to have lunch #2 ’round 3pm… that’ll be cereal concoction.
Off to Phoenix tomorrow for some hiking, biking and of course shopping! Should be an interesting week food wise, I’m going to try and make as much as I can in the house kitchen and bring it with me wherever we go. If it’s hot, I can’t guarantee that I won’t have at least one ice cream cone!
As for blogging… don’t know the wifi situation… hope I can get in a few posts.
Great work everyone!!!

Aloha fellow crossfitters! Good God this place is beautiful! Mich and I have been able to eat very healthy for the most part,(since we went shopping at costco) and have been getting up at the crack of dawn putting together some simple workouts. This morning I did 5 rounds of 30 double unders, 30 sit ups, 30 squats and 30 push ups. thank God Mich packed my skipping rope! I’m hoping to send Tania a video of the most amazing spot to do double unders. (I think we’re just a little crazy about crossfit already) Hope everyone is having fun. I think we’re packing a mixed green salad with mild italian sausage for lunch. Gotta go, we’re hoping to find a sweet beginner surf break today. P.S. We really could use a pull up bar.

Lunch today was actually a breakfast dish (at Stella’s cafe):
3 eggs, 3 pieces of bacon, 3 slices of ham, 2 sausages, 1 sliced tomato (as a substitute for the hashbrowns), and a fruit cup as a bread substitute.
I know these aren’t the best of meats but hey it was all paleo….

@superbean
We’re on Maui for the duration of the trip. So far we took a look at the waves on the northshore at Jaw’s beach and that’s definitely out! Totally looked like death on a stick out there mate. Any info would be great.
