Have a great time in Barbados. Treat yourself to the seared tuna at Harlequins - on the St Lawrence Gap - my mouth is watering just typing that. And please have a Mount Gay for me!

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch of pork sausage in a mixed green salad w/ crasins and chopped almonds, just before going to see tons of pacific whales jump out of the sea right in front of our eyes. Unbereeveable! Crazy but I'm looking forward to coming home and doing pull ups. I almost considered doing them off of a soccer net, but gauranteed the guys who were playing would think their was something wrong with me. :O) The 6-10 ft waves have been keeping me busing for the most part. Playing in them or avoiding them from breaking my neck.... can't figure out which is more fun! See ya Wed. mornin'!

I was at a conference today and lunch consisted of salad and roast beef w/veggies...for the first time in my life, I left the fresh bread and mashed patatoes on my plate untouched and skipped the pecan pie drizzed with chocolat which was staring at me intensly for a full 30 minutes while I tried to concentrate on the guest speaker. I also skipped the cinamon buns and cake which was being offered at the 3pm break and opted for the carrots and celery sticks I had stached in my purse just in case...I'm finaly gaining some willpower! Felt great!

Jodi and I were running around today getting last minute stuff for Barbados out of the way so we ate breakfats late and had lunch late. So lunch was kinda a combo of sausages, raisons and steaks eaten over many hours. Probably our last post for about a week on what we eat as head down into the warmth. I expect to eat allot of seafood but will probably be eating more carbs(in a non paleo way)to refuel the body inbetween rugby games. Not to mention the inevitable liquid carbs that are a must following every rugby game.

You can get a box of 12 at Costco for 16 dollars. I eat them way too often. They are too convenient, when I run out doubt I will buy, maybe make homemade protein bars instead.

<a href="#comment-4380" rel="nofollow">@Motha </a>
Thanks Mandy....yah I think they are too high carb/high fat for me to eat regularly.... plus that would just set off my sweet tooth so gotta stay away for the most part, but like you say, 'great in a pinch'.
