“I’m too busy and it takes too much time to eat a more nutritious diet.”
This is the one excuse I am struggling with…its only been 5wks of eating clean for me, so I’m still adjusting…sometimes it feels like all I do is work, crossfit, come home, cook & clean, time to go to bed…
I know its all about planning and I’m getting better at it…I think its the cleaning part that I hate…I like making the food and eating but then I wish all the dirty dishes would disappear…
My biggest challenge remains the weekend; somehow I have to stop thinking that the weekend is a free pass to eat anything I want.
A big thank you to the person you posted the salmon burger recipe, its quick and easy to make and it tastes great! I made them for dinner last night with portabelle mushrooms as the bun. And, I just had one again for lunch today wrapped in romaine lettuce…love it! Def will become a weekly staple in my house.

“I have to get this chocolate out of the house some how”-if its in the house its DEADLY.
However i am getting really crafty with the use of almond butter and since discovering frozen grapes. Those items usually divert me away from the not so desirable foods in the house.
tonight – roasted chicken from superstore, celery and almond butter, steamed brocoli, san pelligrino water.
we are having my daughters 2cnd bday tomorrow so at around 4:30 10 pizzas will be here. I have made concessions already with a hearty cesar salad with chicken breast, fruit and vegie trays. This way i can eat with out too many questions.
My biggest challenge is obviously snacking at night after supper. But the more i am educated and getting expereince the easier it is evolving for me.

sauteed chicken liver and baked cabbage (drizzled with EVOO and spices) with mushrooms and onions. Might not sound great but absolutely amazing. I didn’t know what a nutritional powerhouse chicken livers are.

Well back from a week in the paradise known as Barbados. Food wise we did pretty good stayed about 80% within the diet. That excludes alcohol as traveling with a rugby team requires you to drink. We had a supermarket pretty close by so we bought enough food for the week and didn’t really eat out that much. The hardest part of the whole trip was traveling, with the airline running out of good food options during the long flight down.
Tonight was chicken with hot sauce and breaded with almond flour and a salad.
