This is bad but I didn't eat supper this evening, two beers at an evening function I was at was about it. I had chicken and broccoli sauteed in coconut oil before at 4:00 though.

I agree MLC... seeing that stuff makes my stomach ache. Even if I didn't eat Paleo... I still wouldn't eat Baconnaise... hmmm, or would I. mmmmm bacon. lol
I feel bad for the kids whose parents don't care enough about themselves to make life any better for their kids. Poor things.

For dindin - Sheppards Pie made with ground turkey. Change things up a bit. For those of you who make this recipe... the last 2 times I've made it I used a whole can of crushed tomatoes with the meat... and put coconut milk with the cauliflower in the processor. You must try! MMMMMMMM!

On a side note: When I posted the Butternut squash recipes... both are from a raw-non-cooked BNS which I peeled (with a potato peeler) and cut into manageable chunks to use with my slicer. In case there was some confusion. :)

Dinner on Wed was chicken, onions, garlic and a whole bunch of veggies. Used some spices like tumeric and curry and marjoram tasted pretty good for this kind of concoction.

I have to agree with you Jo, I wish I would have known about paleo eating a long time ago. Could have saved myself a few years grief! As far as the family goes, Kyle eats paleo most of the time but my husband and other son don't. That being said, because I cook healthier they are eating healthier. And yes, Melisa - that does make me sick!

Dinner tonight is going to be taco salad.

Wowzers.

On TLC yesterday that was a documentary called "Half-ton Dad" and "World's largest teenager" - the Dad ate the equivalent of 2 weeks worth of food in one day.

Kept thinking about when I will have kids of my own ... and how I want so badly for them to make the right nutritional decisions AND how I hope that they will develop a healthy relationship with food.
What pressures that must be for parents. Those of you who already have kids and are just learning about the proper way to eat, give yourself 2 thumbs up because it's never too late to learn! Look at all the changes you have made - start with yourself and then incorporate your family...they will follow suit as you display increased happiness, energy, etc.
