  • oh boy…

  • Just watched a few DU tutorials…some on youtube and at Again Faster, any other suggestions?

  • 15:55 working time (27:55 total)
first round was 1:11 and second round was close to that, but then things went downhill on third round push jerks (4 sets). had to pace it after that.

  • 33:46 Rx’d
I loved the energy in the gym today! It was a great WOD, I was fully prepared to scale if need be, but, like Brendan, I just broke the push jerks into sets of 6 and 4 or 4,3,3.
Good job to all who made it through this one. Lots of rips today, treat your hands well.

  • Sorry, that last post was from Brad, not Nat.

  • This was a good one, did a lot better than I expected. Got 5 of the 7 rounds of Push Jerk straight which was huge for time……24:48 Rx’d

  • Nice work Derek! Did anyone stick around to cheer you on? I would not have wanted to do that alone.

  • @Derek
    nice work!

  • WOW….this one hurt me……I am having a REAL hard time at pullups….still, its pissing me off big time….I bet I spent at least 75% of my time at the pullup bar….

D.U. were very good for me, I think I did four sets unbroken,

Push Jerks were unbroken except second round where a form correction caused a mental lapse…

Thanks guys for the form correction and the encouragement through out….. The energy was awesome…..

    I Rx’d but time was not so great…..35 something…..

    E.

  • EXPLICIT LANGUAGE WARNING ……

  • WOW again….The girls today worked through some insane pain……We have got some tough Fuc*ing chicks at CFW….(stated with the utmost respect) makes e feel a bit like a pus*y for complaining about my chins….

B and Derek you guys are animals….that was impressive work….something for me to strive towards…..

  • 48 minutes
blue band and 65# for the push jerk (all unbroken sets, I should maybe have gone heavier). Mostly I’m just gald the DUs went alright, I had one run of 16 in a row :)

    Great atmosphere today!

Vasoline works to heal those ripped hands

  • Well Turbo was there, but she spent most of the time on the phone….LOL. It was not that bad doing it by myself, so I was fine.

  • ….wow i wanna do this, maybe a double WOD day for me tomorrow.

  • all I can say about today is BADASS rips…!!

shoulda tried to RX the jerks…

    and most of all

    NICE WORK EVERYONE !!!!!

  • TAPOUT….those were unreal….. You a tough MOFO…..RESPECT!!

    E.

  • ugh….tough one but the atmosphere was AMAZING! fu**ing double unders took me so much time. not even sure what my time was. 45:something

    TAPOUT how are the hands???

  • throbbing…@BRad

  • hey all…I’ll be following the Marcher WODs with you guys from now on…look forward to gettin my sweat on again with the group

    today’s wod: 1:25/1:14/1:12/1:34/1:37/1:43/1:26 total 22:11 rx’d (work time 10:11)

first couple sets of butterfly chins unbroken then broken, but not too badly
all DUs and push jerks unbroken except round 6 for both (missed 30th DU twice…WTF?…and paused on rep 7 for the Push Jerk…didn’t rack it once throughout WOD though)

    @Scott H
Thanks for yellin at me today and nice work bro

  • oops…according to notes paused on PJs in round 7 as well…

  • @stephen
    killed it. nice work.

  • Thanks b.
After last nights implosion on the 1k row, I came in lookin to settle a score with the weights. Scott didn’t let me rest either. See you Tuesday for some more fun.

  • 35.06 rx’d

Damn rips slowed me WAY down for the pullups in rounds 6 and 7.

  • That workout was disgusting…in a good way. Killed my shoulders somehow during the week so had to drastically reduce the weight for the push and go to light dumbells.
Ended up around 27 for time still. This one killed me.

    Derek: 24:48?!…..Damn son,…you killed it…that’s man crush material…

  • 41:43 total time. Did the first set of jerks at 95# and promptly decided that that 70 reps at that weight was a bad idea and did the rest at 85#. It felt like I was push jerking the entire time. The double-unders and pullups were like breaks. The hardest part was bringing down the bar after jerking it. I think I could have had a better time on this workout if I could clean and jerk and drop the bar on every rep.
Double-unders – some rounds unbroken, some rounds horribly broken, mostly influenced by how badly the last round of jerks went.
Pullups – Minimum of 10 pull-ups for the first set of each round, no more than three sets per round, felt good, no callus rips, which is rare for me for a workout having more than 100 pullups.
Push Jerks – horribly broken, down to singles at the end, one of the hardest things I’ve done in a long time.

My CrossFit experience was so awesome!! I don't think I've ever been around that much genuinely positive energy in my life! Everyone was so gracious and helpful, and at the end of On-Ramp I really felt I could do anything!! Your entire team, male and female, have such enviable physiques and I know I can get there, too, so thank you for what you guys do and for what you"
