    @E
    I love o-lifting videos…the hip and ankle flexibility on some of those dudes is just awesome…I’ll bring my Ironmind videos in if you want to borrow them and see some ridiculous lifting in the training hall (like stefan botev snatching close to 400# for a double and squatting 700# for reps)…awesome video, soundtrack sucks…

    tomorrow’s WOD…f%*k yeah!

    great work Melissa, I love seeing your numbers and striving. Yesterday, not so good for me, but I’ll keep hitting it hard, what was the hardest part, any recommendations? These mega wods are killing me too.

    @natalie g
    Anything gymnastics related gets me. I lack explosive power so the chest slap pushups were impossible and ring dips are also a nemisis.

    And today there is an insane amount of pushups! These WODs are humbling to say the least. Really draw out the weaknesses.

    Thankfully the programming has been 2 on 1 off! I will be there tonight at 5 Nat if you need some a$$ kicking. ;)

    @MLC
    I’ll take some of the a$$ kicking if you’re handing it out…as like Nat these WOD’s are taking their toll, not only on my body but mentally. I’m trying not to let them discourage me…

  10. February 10th, 2010 at 12:06 | #10

    A1.175, 185, 195, 205 unbroken
    A2.Rx’d, first set was the best, 5-3-2, and the 2nd set. After that I moved to 2′s and singles. Slap chest pushups were hard, down to singles on the last couple sets as well.
    B1. Rx’d, pushups were broken, I skipped the 90 sec rest.
    DU’s- 180. I could have tried harder but my coordination was shot. Didn’t work on HSPU, too late. Probably would have broken my neck ;)
    Thx for the encouragement Tania!

    It was a grinder. Rest day tomorrow.

    @Kristin
    I’m on it! And don’t let it discourage you. It is WAY more important to work on your weaknesses then your strengths. Believe me, you are not the only one being beaten down mentally. These WODs are very humbling, and that is why we do it.
    C’ya tonight!

    A1. 235, 245, 260, 275 – slept a little funny this afternoon and woke up with a weird feeling in my back so I played it a little safe here. Think I could do 295.
    A2: rx’d–UB,UB,UB,(7+3)
    A3: rx’d–UB,UB,UB, broken
    (last set broken like hell…when these go, they really go) (steve said it so well, why bother rewriting it)

    B1: rx’d, all unbroken
    B2: rx’d–first 12-15 reps unbroken on all 4 sets, then broken into 3-5 (good form on all…chest to deck…full lock-out at top…) – steve you took the words right out of my mouth

    C: 216 – buddy lee felt really short and really heavy on the forearms today.

    D: about 10 slow reps. Tried several with hands on a plate… couldn’t get out of the bottom.
