Here are the standings after day 1 of the Central Canada Sectionals.  It was a great day and an absolute pleasure to watch CrossFit Winnipeg represent.  Our ladies are doing exceptionally well with Melisa and Crystal in the top 15 after day 1.  Congrats to all our athletes and good luck tomorrow for the “Canadian Crippler”!

  • Baseline 4:28, kind of embarrassed my last time was 5:35 in December. lol

    Great Work to our sectional athletes, Thanks for putting Winnipeg back on the map!

  • MLC is going to regionals after placing 10th overall among the females….f**k yeah!!!!!!!!!!

    Congrats to all the CFW peeps who competed this weekend…way to throw it down!!

  • Congrats MLC!!!

    Awesome job CFW competitors!

  • I knew you had it in ya, MLC!! Way to kill it, grrl!!!

  • Can’t overstate my pride in how CF Winnipeg performed this week. Seeing MLC up at the front of the room (awards for top 15)… I think that felt really good for all of us. Great work everyone!

  • @B
    well said…wish I could have come out to see it in person! checked the results every few hours…

    @Dewy
    love the video, dude…really appreciated being able to watch just the CFW peeps do their thing…

    on a different note, my WOD today called for 3 attempts at a heavy single (not 1RM) overhead squat…had never gone this heavy before and it was a blast…195# (no problem), 215# (no problem), 225#…this last one tested my balance, but not my strength as much as I expected…best part was that it for sure not a 1RM (felt like it was gettin close, though)…Scott H. confirmed full depth for all 3 attempts…stoked! back to the books!

    My CrossFit experience was so awesome!! I don't think I've ever been around that much genuinely positive energy in my life! Everyone was so gracious and helpful, and at the end of On-Ramp I really felt I could do anything!! Your entire team, male and female, have such enviable physiques and I know I can get there, too, so thank you for what you guys do and for what you"
