Workout of the Day

For loads:
A. Back Squat @ 30X0; 3,3,2,2,1,1; rest 240 sec
B. Power Clean @ 12X1; 2,2,2,2,2; rest 180 sec

Sectionals Athletes rest day tomorrow.

    BS – 100×3, 105×3, 110×2, 115×2, 120×1, 125×1
    That’s a PR for me and I think it is also body weight! My bathroom scale and I don’t speak so I am guessing.

    Power Clean – 70×2, 75×2, 80×2, 85×2, 90×2 the second lift @90 wasn’t pretty but I got it up. 90# is also a PR for me.

    Love the new weight lifting shoes!

    I think my new shoes are helping too!
    BS – 135×3, 145×3, 155×2, 165×2, 175×1, 180×1
    PC – 95×2, 105×2, 110×2, 115×2, 120×2

    This was squished in on my lunch break, so my rests were not as rx,d more like 60-90 sec.

    at work now, so quick round up for my WOD:
    PR for BS: 170×1 (could lift heavier, but am focusing on technique ever since I had an injury back in the fall that I had to work up from, been focusing on good technique very much here…but really want to be up on board! ugh, slow but sure)
    PR for PC – 120×2 – yay for technique! today was not as ugly as it once was, the placement of my feet always would get wonked when I’d try to land the clean, but not so much anymore!!! :D )

    PC: 135×2, 155×2, 165×2, 165×2, 175×1

    Great day to get back into the gym after tweaking my shoulder a bit last week.

    BS:165×3, 185×3, 205×2, 225×2, 235×1, 245×1 Felt ten times better than last time we did BS, depth was good.

    PC:Can’t remember all the work-up sets but PR’d with 185. Thanks to Brad with a few suggestions in my grip and pull.
