Nice work Erika!!! Also, Kyle rowed a 6:51 2000 m yesterday!!! It was awesome! I think he can beat that by another 6 seconds next time.

@Erika
YAY!! So glad you got that second one so I could see it!
So the food challenge is officially over but I must share…
I’ve been eating a ton of broccoli salad lately (I tend to eat a lot of whatever is on sale in any given week) and so I had a lot of broccoli stalks leftover. I was saving them because throwing out food just doesn’t happen at my place. I had finally decided to make soup with them…but I forgot the pot on the stove and most of the water had evaporated, oopsy. But the broccoli-mush in the pot looked a lot like mashed potatoes…so I threw in some garlic, butter, and oregano and voila, awesome-tasting mashed broccoli. And I just had a student tell me my lunch looked great (sliced roast beef, beets and mashed broccoli). Yum!
The WOD was so-so today, heavy + speed is not one of my strengths, can’t remember the numbers but I used 65# for the cleans and the bench.
Thank you everyone! It feels awesome to finally be a “chick who does chins”!!
@Brad G
Kyle told me about his time – he thinks he can beat it too.
Today = Fun
