  • Congrats Relay Teams!

    * * * * On another happy note, the JUMP ROPES are in!

I will bring them to the gym Tuesday morning with a list. I am away from Wednesday until next Monday but I trust that my fellow Crossfitters can manage the payment/distribution of these.

    * Please take a rope only when you have PAID for it. Leave the money in the envelop & fill out the info on the sheet so I can keep track *

Hope this works out – it isn’t rocket science people! haha

    Thx!
    Jojo

  • Rx’d for 20:00
    C&J 80#
    KBS 55#

  • @brendan
LOL – I like ES4B – way easier to remember and pronounce than the rest!

    WOD: C&J 55#, KBS 35#

Found the KBS to be the hardest part of that.

Congrats to the relay teams!! And welcome back Tania – we missed you!

  • Used 155 for clean and jerks and 70lbs kettlebell for swings as the gym beast was using the 75 pounder! Finished all rounds, not pleased with swings some went out the back door!!

3:52 for the seconde half, could only put down an orange inbetween, I was hurting!!

  • Part 1: 155# C&PJ/2 pood KB…failed on round 10 and 16? (I think…might’ve been 17)…16 rounds total…lesson in humility today…great WOD!

This WOD crushed me…that’s the shitty part…great part is that, otherwise, cleans felt strong, as did the KBS…

    part 2: 3:40

  • @Norm and Pascal…

You two crushed it today…always a pleasure throwin down with you maniacs…

  • my lower back was screamin…!!!!

…6am this morning…Bryan and I were letting out some pretty scary grunting sounds…hope we didn’t scare the on ramp group that was in for their first class…@stephen

  • @Tapout
Haha! I was thinking the same thing! Must be scary listening to us!

  • @Tapout
They’ll be doin their own grunting and swearing soon enough!

nice job on the WOD today!

  • I loved this Wod!!

    Rx’d – 20 rounds at 90# / 55#

My Rx’d weight was 80# but it felt too light…so I worked up to 90# by the 4th round and that was better. Used the 55# KB for all rounds….felt great to finish all 20 rounds.

  • smokey jo is def back in action !!! Nice work girl !!!@Smokey Jo

  • @ Smokey Jo
Nice work Jo! You seriously crushed it!
This was tough. Worked C&J with 155# and 75# KBS. Got 12 rds total and suffered crazy back spasms from the KBS.
Got a little freaked out by it and thought it might be better to rest it. Totally frustrated by letting this one get the better of me.
Rested about 20-30 mins and finished WOD 2 in 4:02. Underestimated this entire day big time!

  • @Smokey Jo
    Damn girl…..

C&J #135 and #70 KBS: 15 Rds this killed me.
But hit it hard on part deux…

  • This was tough:
C&J 85#, 55# KBS: 11 rounds unbroken, 6 min rest and did 4 more rounds, it was really tough, can’t they make a lighter 55 KB?

Part B was on my own, thanks for all the encouragement, 5:15.

  • @natalie g

    natalie g :

    can’t they make a lighter 55 KB?

    You`re too cute.

  • “Can’t they make a lighter 55 KB?”
    That was PERFECT!

    "

My CrossFit experience was so awesome!! I don't think I've ever been around that much genuinely positive energy in my life! Everyone was so gracious and helpful, and at the end of On-Ramp I really felt I could do anything!! Your entire team, male and female, have such enviable physiques and I know I can get there, too, so thank you for what you guys do and for what you"
