My CrossFit experience was so awesome!! I don't think I've ever been around that much genuinely positive energy in my life! Everyone was so gracious and helpful, and at the end of On-Ramp I really felt I could do anything!! Your entire team, male and female, have such enviable physiques and I know I can get there, too, so thank you for what you guys do and for what you"

I had a good day for HSPU’s the other day and it got me thinking about my goals for 2010 since one of them is 7 consecutive HSPU’s. It’s 4 months in, how are you doing with your goals?
My goals and progress has been:
1. 7 unbroken HSPU’s – Had 0 Rx’d in Jan, got 5 the other day
2. Touch 10 feet 7 inches – It was at 10’3″, now it’s at 10’5″
3. Squat 300# – was at 280# but the other day I failed at 265#…booo! Will be doing more squats!
4. Butterfly pull ups in wods – I can do about 7-10 in a row but only about 5-6 does my chin get over the bar. That’s exactly how I started learning the regular kip.
5. 4:30 Fran – Haven’t done it since Aug and I think I got 6:12 – I wouldn’t be surprised if I was pretty close to my goal.

Had a really good lifting day today, after 120 I was catching the bar in a full squat. 85×3 95×3 105×3 110×1 115×1(Old PR) 120×1 125×1 130×1(New PR) 135-fail
WOD – 5 rounds using 3 abmats for the HSPU (first time getting any movement upside-down!!) and the old blue band for pull-ups. Really great WOD, my forearms are toast though

HPC – 55×3, 65×3, 70×3 (old PR), 75×1, 80×1, 85×1 (new PR) tried 90 and failed.
wod – 5 rounds doing handstand holds and using the blue band for pull-ups. I second Kim’s comment – forearms are done!
@Brad G
Good for you – that is awesome! Miss seeing you!

1RM HPC at 130# We will call it a PR…never logged the HPC before…
5 rounds (HSPU 2 abmats…rx on the rest)…stopped after 14min and did push ups for the last minute…I’ve injured my calf muscle and coming down from HSPU was too much…

1RM for Hang Power Clean 255#, PR by a large margin
Got to second part of warm up started with pullups on my 6th rep smashed my chin on the bar hard, chipped my teeth, so needless to say I was not in the best mood to finsih the WOD. Did 7 rounds with 45# KB

@Derek
Ouch! Careful – it’s things like that that get you nicknames!
