It was my first time doing Fran, I actually had butterflies before I started the workout because I was so nervous!
Used 35# for the thrusters and the blue band for the pullups and did it in 7:58ish(cant remember exactly). The 15 pullups in the middle were definitely the worst part for me. I am so glad that there were other people doing this one with me-thanks for pushing me to keep going you guys!

i felt the same as you, not because it was my first time, but because I ALWAYS get shaken before wods like this. anyways, I hoped to crush this but i feel like i got crushed instead. 5:52 rx’d. room for improvement.

This was my first time with Fran ( I hate Thrusters)

Well Fran certainly did me in – quite literally. Hi thruster #5 and felt my back go out. Couldn’t finish – obviously. So it is ice and chiropractor for me. Hope this is a short recovery.

Was having an off day, I think I fought off a cold yesterday (no sugar + extra sleep + ginger tea = solid immune system). Anyway, I wasn’t expecting a great time on the WOD so there was no “urgency energy” and I felt really good after. My time could have been better but I think I figured out the “game face” that the coaches sometimes talk about. Or I might just be crazy. 6:44 using 45# and the old blue band

First time with Fran. Rx’d weight but blue band for pullups. Time was 8:28 and I was not happy with that. Felt pukey during the second round and took way too many breaks. Oh well, next time!
On a side note, tried Mandy’s Sheppard’s Pie yesterday and Chicken Pizza today. Both were delicious!!!

First time doing Fran RX’d….thrusters are not my friend. Weak shoulders and a general lack of coordination made this WOD fun. 6:55 so room for improvement.

Not bad – stiff and unable to bend properly at the waist. I couldn’t get in with my chiropractor yesterday so I have an appt today. Hopefully he can fix me up.

Glad you enjoyed the recipes! Am working on a couple more concoctions, when I master them I will post.
As for Fran… did deadlifts instead of Thrusters. Who knew I’d be missing thrusters. Did the pullups with the old blue band… am in that inbetween stage of unassisted and old blue. One day I will RX a pullup WOD!
