John, are you okay?

Workout of the Day

5 sets for times:
10 OHS – 135#/95#
15 knees to elbows
30 double unders
rest 3 min
(keep intent and speed per set high!)

Monday mornings have been a little crazy at the gym and we are taking measures to ensure that we keep our coaching standards high so you get the best possible workout.  These include:

(1) Adding more classes starting in June, including lunchtime and more.

(2)  Starting in the next few weeks we will ask that you register online for your classes.  We will be capping the classes at 12 athletes.  We’ll be sending out an email with details and instructions.

    I was planning on coming in this morning at 6am to do this but I woke up and felt like I had been hit by a truck-ugh! Hopefully I can kick whatever this is by tomorrow morning!

    Had to sub walking lunges for OHS – used 17.5# until Tania called me out and switched to 20# for the last round. K2E were broken as my grip failed and I HATE double unders!!! Forget my time – 29:?? I think.

    34:51 Rx’d

    OHS killed my wrists!

    Well not a great finish time…but glad I did it…focused on quality reps…full dept on OHS and knees up elbows (not triceps) on K2E…

    2. I want the other girls pink socks
    3. Brendan/Turbo… please don’t make us do the ring pullups. However, the full kipping the boys did…looked quite fun!

    I actually forgot to write down my time but I think (Pascal?) it was around 25 or 26 minutes…

    - OHS at 90# … all unbroken – So close to Rx’d weight but couldn’t seem to go deep enough with 95#
    - K2E were actually ‘Knees to as high as I can get them’
    - Double unders all unbroken

    Good WOD!

    Did the first round at 95# and then went down to 75# as I wanted to keep the speed high to respect the intent and purpose of the workout. But maybe I could have done 95# if I had more time to warm up. Time was 24:56 with full K2E.

    @Ninja
    I’m pretty sure that’s Jacques, the owner of CF Montreal. Nice guy, good place to go if you’re in Montreal

    …..20:34, Rx’d, 8:34 work time. Everything unbroken except for one drop on OHS on the third set.

    I was telling Mandy at work today…that i only noticed the prescription of speed and intent after I got home and posted…knowing that speed was the intent I would have taken for sure 20# off…either way it was a good wod…@Turbo

    @Tapout
    as long as the intent was speed the actual speed doesn’t matter as much,
    great job rx ing it Nic!!
