Ok – I know this won’t be popular, but I just saw a workout which piqued my curiosity…
1 burpee
AMRAP in 20 minutes
Freddy C. dubbed it “Death by Burpee”
Burpee standard
- touch a target which you need to jump 6″ on each rep
- full chest/cheek to floor pushup
Strikes me as the ultimate met-con.
(now where did I put that flame retardant suit…)
LOL, that’s pretty funny. I wonder how many that would be, amrap in 20. Now that’s a metcon. Hell, I’d do it, and I HATE burpees.
I would like that burpee workout!

Double Fran to me would be 21-15-9 x2, but 42-30-18 might also be Double Fran
Heavy Fran = 135# thrusters, 50# weighted Pullups

Can you please tell me how you failed to mention your 285# clean and 255# clean and jerk on the blog tonight. That is some f*$kin monster weight on that clean, dude. Congrats. 290# was so close. Next time for sure.

Yeah burpee mile. If you like, do 800m, then do Fran, then do the other 800.
To add to the list:
Marking 100 meter sprint increments on your front street with field paint.
So if you see a lunatic running down Dussault …thats me!
