"When I started Crossfit I was a size 10 and I weighed 147 lbs. I have only lost 17 pounds but I am a size 4. The numbers on the scale don’t rule me anymore and that is so freeing. For that I can truly say Thank you CrossfitWinnipeg and thanks to all the incredible coaches who make this all possible.

November 11, 2010 at 8:33 pm
How do we decide on what division we want to register for…will there be criterias to go by?
November 12, 2010 at 3:17 pm
@Tapout
If there was a “super” advanced division Nicole you would have to register for that one, but there isn’t so I guess you’re stuck doing the advanced.
November 12, 2010 at 4:09 pm
haha…I’m flattered that you would think that…I can only dream of being that good…when I start pumping out RDips, MUs and HSPUs like nothing and win the Games I may see myself as “super” but for now we’ll stick with something a little more humble like…Intermediate…with a couple Advanced abilities….
I can’t wait to finally COMPETE!!!!!! So pumped about this!!!
November 12, 2010 at 4:27 pm
@Pascal
I vote SNOW JOB 2011 as the comp name!
@Tapout
I can’t wait to watch ya throw it down!! I was thinking about going in the female advanced division but now that you’ll be there I’m not so sure….
November 12, 2010 at 4:48 pm
@Tapout
no arguments Nic, you are doing Advanced. It wouldn’t be fair for the other intermediate competitors if you registered in Intermediate!
November 13, 2010 at 11:40 am
@Tapout
Yeah, Nic if you’re Intermediate, than I’m a Beginner!!
November 13, 2010 at 5:16 pm
ugh!! I’m loaded on an army course I’ve been waiting for a year to complete, so sadly I can’t be there! (I’ll be teaching drill and weapons assembly instead)

I think the competition should be called Fuerza Crossfit 2011 which means in Spanish being fit and strong and giving it everything you’ve got. So that’s my vote!
November 16, 2010 at 4:54 pm
OK I’m in. My first competition experience, I’m nervous & excited all at once!
November 17, 2010 at 9:29 pm

It isn’t pretty but that is my 2 cents.
November 17, 2010 at 9:31 pm
