On Ramp #43 Starts – SOLD OUT!

On Ramp Session #43 starts Tuesday,  September 6th:  Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00AM to 7:00AM for 6 weeks. Our basic On Ramp program is designed for the generally active, injury free individual who wants ultimately to train in one of our ongoing group classes. This 12-hour small group program is an “on-ramp” to the “highway” that is CrossFit. In this class we will expose new members to our movement curriculum in a group format. Classes are limited to 6 athletes per coach. We will emphasize movement techniques, along with a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes. If you are unsure as to whether you are a good candidate for beginning in a class setting, please contact us.

Click here to see when the next On Ramp class starts and to reserve your spot or download the registration form and return with payment to CrossFit Winnipeg via email, fax, or in person.! $150 for 12 hours of group training.

As some of you already know the Bridge City Beat Down (BCBD) is set for September 9-10, 2011. This is the third year of Synergy Strength & Conditioning/CrossFit Saskatoon hosting this annual fall CrossFit competition. They set a high standard last year with just about 100 participants attending and some of the most dynamic WODs around…heavy tire flips, sandbag hurdles, self-filled 5gal pail farmer walks, prowlers. This year will be even better!
Athletes can go to  www.bridgecitybeatdown.blogspot.com for more information about competition and registration. Any further questions just email or give us a call at 306-979-9348. Thanks for your help and support to make this an even better event!

CFW Tagline & Slogan Contest

FrostFit Games 2011

Want to win some CFW gear?

We are revamping our website and ordering some new t-shirts and tank tops.  That means we are on the lookout for new slogans and/or a tagline to represent our brand.

Taglines:  This is the kind of thing that will show up on our website , business cards and pamphlets.  Something short that represents what we stand for. It is associated with our club and generally stays with us wherever we go.  Examples: CrossFit.com “Forging Elite Fitness”, Nike “Just Do It”,

Slogans: A slogan is a bit different. The word slogan comes from a Scottish word meaning “battle cry.” Your slogan goes with the battle we are waging right now. Slogans could appear on our apparel or be associated with events we host.  Example: FrostFit Games “The Cold Won’t Numb the Pain”.

Please post submissions to comments and if we use your idea, you’ll win some CFW goodies.
