Bridge City Beatdown Competition in Saskatoon

Want to compete?  Check out the Bridge City BeatDown.  For those who wish to compete, we will be posting a training schedule and tips to prepare you for the event as we get closer to competition time.  This might include some programming for double days as well as self assessment tools for those who want to find their strengths and weaknesses.

As some of you already know the Bridge City Beat Down (BCBD) is set for September 9-10, 2011. This is the third year of Synergy Strength & Conditioning/CrossFit Saskatoon hosting this annual fall CrossFit competition. They set a high standard last year with just about 100 participants attending and some of the most dynamic WODs around…heavy tire flips, sandbag hurdles, self-filled 5gal pail farmer walks, prowlers.This year will be even better!

    Okay…so I’m totally in for this. I’m writing it down here so that I can’t back out and pretend that I wasn’t interested when I get too nervous about it and think I shouldn’t do it at all! Just thinking about registering is making me nervous, but I think I will enjoy the competition, and it will be good to have something to work towards. Besides, I love a good road trip! Done. Said it. I’m committed now :)

    I went to this last year and it was absolutely unbelievable. Unlike anything I have ever experienced. I highly encouraged all who are interested to attend. I will definitely be going again this year but will be driving from Edmonton. So I plan to meet all you awesome CFW peeps there(who wants to room with me??) :)

    Seriously, YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS!!!!!!
