Hello CFW!
Through my association with the ambassador program at Lululemon Athletica I have been able to meet some very inspiring people. I have been in discussions with a colleague who owns property in Honduras that houses 16 school age children. She works tirelessly at their property and in the public schools, assisting in program development for all the kids. In their country, even public school costs money, with each child having to purchase a seat if they wish to be seated for class. In addition to this, the cost of clothing and footwear is very high and as such, many children go to school with no shoes at all. My colleague, Ivette Landry is travelling to Honduras to speak at the graduation ceremony for some of the children in November. Ivette has been very active, physically, spiritually and financially in ensuring that these children get what they need to achieve success in their education and have an opportunity to move on to things they dream about for their futures.
I am asking for your help…..
On Ivette’s next trip, she is bringing footwear and clothing for the children. She was looking to buy things here and take them back since it is so expensive there, but we have discussed the opportunity to poll our respective communities for help. I am personally donating some lightly used clothing and shoes for the kids and I was looking to the CFW community to help us achieve something special. I am looking for shoes, t shirts and shorts, lightly worn that can be donated to this cause. The children are aged 2 years old to 20 years old so all is welcome. I know this is short notice as Ivette is leaving for Honduras on November 2nd, but I KNOW we can do this. WE as a community are able to achieve whatever we strive for…we’ve already proven that day in and day out.
If you can find it in you to help, I will be taking donations at CFW for the next week. You can bring things bagged, boxed, or however you like. I will take them to Ivette before she leaves on our behalf.
I appreciate your time and efforts.
Best,
Brad Sarna – Coach “Sarge”
*A donation box will be set up at the gym for drop off*

I Lived in Honduras till I was 15 years old and I was blessed to have an accident where I broke my back and because of that I was able to go to USA and get the surgery and lived there until I graduated from University. My nana the most amazing woman on earth raised about 30 children and I was part of her love and work for them. she is gone now for 4 years and Darryl and I took it upon ourselves to work hard so that we can provide love, education and confidence so they never have to bullied or beat up like I was just because I was poor. My mission is to see that these children have a happy life full of dreams and opportunity and they can have education which will open the doors for a better future. If you wish to donate the clothing, or shoes or make monetary donations, please do so in an envelope with your name so that I can bring you a pictures of the kids and show you what we do. I don’t want or cannot take too many heavy things because it is very expensive to pay for the luggages but whatever you do can do, will be taken directly from you to me to them and you can rest assure that they will be greatful to you. call me if you wish at 204-292-9972. thank you for doing something great for these children.
