The CrossFit Winnipeg Member of the Month for September 2011 is Miguel “Big Mig” Gauthier. Miguel’s transformation has been nothing short of amazing. From diabetes and cholesterol to deadlifts and metcons. For those of you who don’t know Miguel, he’s usually part of the 4pm crew. Miguel is hard to ignore at the gym. He’s got a big frame and an even bigger personality. You may or may not like his musical tastes, but you have to love his heart. He puts everything he’s got into his workouts, and with a bit of help from a great community, he’s making some even bigger changes to his nutrition and lifestyle. Miguel, we are so proud of you and we are behind you all the way!
Love,
CFW

Do you have any special memorable CrossFit Winnipeg moments? When Coach Brenden pushed me to run a 1600m run and he ran right behind me. Half way though, I had bad craps cramps and he told me they will go away he was right.

Way to go Mig, you have a lot to be proud of.
You bring an intensity with you every time you do a WOD and your attitude of “no giving up” has paid off.
