Real Success Stories
I’ve lost 3.7% body fat, & a combined 11.6” off my thighs, hips, waist, & chest. To sum it up: I now feel truly strong, & I’m not just talking about my new found muscles. I mean at life! I’m more in love with life than ever. Each morning that I leave CrossFit @ 7am I am guaranteed to leave grinning and proud of whatever I accomplished that day… The coaches are amazing. And all others in the groups are beyond supportive. They have each managed so quickly to know me, know my limits, accommodate them & even better yet challenge me to push them. To a newbie: stick it out, you’ll love it. Everyday I accomplish something new, something heavy, something tough, something fast or something I’ve never done before. My biggest accomplishment at CrossFit so far is discovering what my new love, CrossFit, has done for my old love running: a marathon PR in Victoria this fall, thanks to CrossFit WOD’s I blew away my previous times! CrossFit, you made me stronger, faster, & you make me just plain: not suck at life.
CrossFit is not just an activity I do, it has been a fantastic lifestyle change for me and I can’t see ever going back. The comments I’ve been getting backup the fact that CrossFit Winnipeg works… The coaching staff at CrossFit Winnipeg are fantastic, fun, and have your best interests at heart… Be prepared to have more fun than you’ve ever had going to a gym.

I’ve been crossfitting for 3 1/2 months and have lost close to 30lbs… I’m fitter, stronger, and faster than I’ve been since I was in my 20′s and have more energy now than I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to get to the gym everyday and set a new personal record. June 1, 2010 I couldn’t do one strict pull-up. September 17, 2010 I joined the “muscle-up” club. CrossFit has been lifechanging for me!

I always wanted kids. But never thought I could have two of the most amazing little girls you can ever imagine. They make me smile, they make me laugh, they make me want to live forever. And for that I owe it to them to be around as long as possible. I owe it to them to be able to throw them up high in to the air, run with them, chase them, teach them sport. I want to show them what strong means. And before training with you and everyone else at CFW this was not going to be possible.

Four short months ago, I woke up from a dream with the realization that I was ready to change my life… no more excuses. CrossFit Winnipeg was the obvious choice for me, having watched my sweet mother’s transformation over the past year and a half. She is definitely my inspiration, 100%. Joining CrossFit Winnipeg was the best decision I have made in a long time. Not only have I dropped some unwelcome weight, but even more exciting is my increase in strength and muscle definition, an improvement in energy over the long winter months and a huge boost in confidence that comes from accomplishing things I never thought possible.
