Are you ready to improve your life?
The single most important step to improving the length and quality of your life is making the decision to get fit and stay fit. CrossFit Winnipeg is here to provide you the resources to attain your fitness goals. Remember, you don’t need to “get in shape” before starting CrossFit. Everybody crawls before they can walk, and walks before they can run. We will be by your side every step of the way.
At CrossFit Winnipeg we teach you to move your body and external objects. There are no machines to dictate your movement patterns. Consequentially some training is required in the basic movements prior to joining our ongoing group workouts. This is a measure we take to ensure the safety and efficacy of the program. Toward that end, we offer 1-on-1 private coaching and group training. The way you get started will ultimately depend on your personal goals and your current level of fitness. There are several routes of admission to our group CrossFit sessions:
(1) On Ramp Program. $150 for one-month 12-class program. Our On Ramp class as a precursor to the regular CrossFit regimen. This one-month, 12-class program is an “on-ramp” to the “highway” that is CrossFit. We will train you proper exercise mechanics and techniques at relatively light loads. You will become consistent with those mechanics under the watchful eye of our coaches. Finally, you will learn how to bring up the intensity to increase your work capacity. We will be showing you movements in the beginning that are relatively non-technical, then progressively become more technical. Clients are welcome to stay in this program as long as they feel necessary, and also return to this program at any future time to reinforce their fundamentals. (2) Personal Training. $60 per hour. With personal training, you will be able to work with a trainer that will tailor workouts specifically for your current fitness level. This is a personalized experience that allows you to work at your own pace under the encouragement and watchful eye of a trainer. Many people decide they want to achieve their fitness goals in a private setting, and we will stand by your side every step of the way.
(3) Try a free drop in class. Starting January 2nd, CrossFit Winnipeg will be holding a free Saturday morning drop in class for anyone who wants to try out our program for free. Click here to see our Free Drop In Class Schedule.
(4) Free Orientation Session. If you aren’t sure where to start, call us or email us to schedule a free 1/2 hour orientation session. In this session we will discuss your goals, previous training experience, and explain the CrossFit methodology to you. It costs nothing more than a commitment to yourself to get healthy and stay fit. Then What?
Following your private training series or our On Ramp program, you can choose to continue with personal training or join our regular ongoing CrossFit sessions. When joining our group classes, training fees are based on frequency of training and length of contract, ranging from $99 for twice a week on a 12 month contract to $179 per month for unlimited classes on a month to month contract.
