How to Join
The single most important step to improving the length and quality of your life is making the decision to get fit and stay fit. CrossFit Winnipeg is here to provide you the resources to attain your fitness goals. Remember, you don’t need to “get in shape” before starting CrossFit. Everybody crawls before they can walk, and walks before they can run. We will be by your side every step of the way.
5 Ways to Get Started
(1) Personal Training. For individuals who are new to exercise, have been generally sedentary, or have significant health or orthopedic issues, personal training is a better option. With personal training, you will be able to work with a trainer that will tailor workouts specifically for your current fitness level. This is a personalized experience that allows you to work at your own pace under the encouragement and watchful eye of a trainer. $85 per hour.
(2) On Ramp Program. Our On Ramp class is a precursor to the regular CrossFit regimen and is designed for the generally active, injury free individual who wants ultimately to train in our ongoing group CrossFit classes. This group class introductory program is an “on-ramp” to the “highway” that is CrossFit. We will teach you proper exercise mechanics and techniques at relatively light loads. You will become consistent with those mechanics under the watchful eye of our coaches. Finally, you will learn how to bring up the intensity to increase your work capacity. We will be showing you movements in the beginning that are relatively non-technical, then progressively become more technical. Each class includes a warm-up, skill and strength work, a great workout and a cool down. Basic On Ramp is for healthy individuals with no orthopedic or health issues. After completing the On Ramp, most people are ready for our CrossFit Mixed Level Group classes. Click HERE for our On Ramp Class Schedule and to register online. $150 for 12 hours of classes. (3) Fundamentals. This is a private On Ramp session for those who prefer to learn the basics of CrossFit at their own pace, for those who can’t commit to the group On Ramp timeslots, or those who are familiar with CrossFit and wish to shorten the introductory period. Most people require between 4 and 6 sessions to learn the basics before moving on to our ongoing group classes. Discounted rate of $60 per hour for those intending on joining our CrossFit group classes.
(4) CrossFit Intro Level Membership. For those who are eager to get started but can’t make it out to our On Ramp or Fundamentals class, we offer several Intro Level classes every week. These classes are open to members and the public without any On Ramp or Fundamentals prerequisite. Your first intro class is free and then you can buy a 10 class pass that allows you to attend any CrossFit Intro class and any of our Stretching & Mobility classes. $169 for 10 classes.

Then What?
Following your private training series or our On Ramp program, you can choose to continue with personal training or join our regular ongoing CrossFit group classes. When joining our group classes, training fees are based on frequency of training and length of commitment, ranging from $8 to $21 per class.
