When we completed our CrossFit Kids certification several years ago, what struck us was the impact that functional movement could have on kids lives, not just their physical development but emotional wellbeing, self confidence and intellectual development. Our Kids program focuses first on developing balance, body control, flexibility, and proper movement and progresses growing bodies appropriately as they move through various stages of physical and mental development. Our kids classes makes fitness fun for kids, without the emphasis on competition that you might see in many team sports. Using activities that kids naturally enjoy, CFW Kids provides a fitness program that is safe, fun and energetic. Our Kids program uses a combination of skill practice, workouts and games to build strength and conditioning in children. We are committed to teaching children to become successful leaders while also promoting the importance of health and fitness in a safe and positive learning environment. In addition to learning new skills, you will notice your child has greater confidence in themselves and their abilities, is more focused in school, transitions to new sports more easily, and has a reduced risk of sport-related injury.
CFW Kids classes are separated into 3 different age groups. As an added benefit, there are adult CrossFit classes running during each of our Kids classes so that parents can train while their child is in class.
Ages 6 to 10: Once per week, Wednesdays at 6PM – Class is approx. 40 to 45 minutes but there will be an additional 15-20 minutes of snack time or play time at the end so that parents can finish their workout.
Tweens 10-14: Twice per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6PM. Class is 60 minutes and runs alongside the adult class, with a coach dedicated to the tweens.
8-Class Pass: $89
4-Class Pass: $49
Teens 15-17: For teens under the age of 18 who are ready to participate in our adult group classes we offer a discounted youth membership of $99 per month. Pre-requisite is Start-Up program.
